Daewon Seo
Baritone

A native of South Korea, baritone Daewon Seo made his debut with the Cleveland Opera Theater in the role of Barone Douphol in La traviata which was hailed by Cleveland Classical: “Daewon Seo is a mellifluous Barone Douphol.” He also performed the role of Falke from Die Fledermaus in the Prelude to the Performance Young Artists program and the role of Escamillo in Carmen in Louisville.

Mr. Seo has performed the roles of Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos with the Miami Music Festival, the title role in Don Giovanni with Seoul National University, Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro with Oberlin Opera Theater, Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, and Vater in Hansel und Gretel with Butler Opera Center.

Mr. Seo was the winner of the Butler International Competition, William C. Bard Competition, Lois Alba Aria competition and the S. Livingston Mather Competition for three years.

Mr. Seo currently lives in Yonkers, NY.
