Elona Krasvtseva
Soprano
Elona Krasavtseva is a classical crossover soprano, actress, songwriter, and Sarah Brightman tribute artist. She is known for her “crystal clear voice that harmonizes the surrounding space and is filled with heartfelt greetings, peace, and love.” (Women’s Magazine, Moscow, Russia.) She performs musical theater, classical, and popular songs in English, Ukrainian, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Yiddish. She grew up in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and currently resides in Tampa Bay near St. Petersburg, Florida. She runs the Music Club of Florida, offering monthly events for music lovers from around the world – class venues, such as The Palladium in St. Petersburg and The Straz in Tampa.
Ms. Krasavtseva began her music career in 2005, performing in major concert halls, and made frequent appearances on broadcast television and radio shows, such as Radio Kultura and Radio Monte Carlo, throughout Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. She was a featured artist and prize winner in the crossover genre, winning opportunities to showcase her original compositions and shows on these stations. In 2014, when she relocated to the United States, she took her original compositions and shows throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia with much success.
She studied at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and graduated from Moscow State University in Russia, where she studied European languages, culture, and folklore. She holds a master’s degree from California State University, East Bay. Elona is the winner of five music festivals and competitions in London, UK, Minsk, Belarus, and Moscow, Russia. She has been recognized as “The voice of tenderness, kindness and love” by the leading tenor of Covent Garden and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, Pavel Kudryavchenko.
